Jane Bennett Support Services

Jane Bennett Support Services Limited started trading on the 1st January 2022. For 13 years we were known as Jane Bennett Care Services Limited.

Over that time we were aware how the community would benefit from more support for families and their loved ones.

We opened up our Time Out Club on the 6th August 2017 at Moseley’s Farm. We recently expanded our club to Gatehouse in Bury St Edmunds.

If you think we can help you, please give us a call and discuss your requirements.

Our team

Jane Bennett Director

Jane’s career in the care profession began around 30 years ago. Her experience stems back to working with the British Nursing Association and the West Suffolk Hospital.

It was Jane’s passion to make a difference that bought about the establishment of Jane Bennett Support Services Ltd. ‘I wanted to create a care service opposed to an agency. I wanted to feel that we were making a real difference to the lives of the individuals we support, and the families and friends of these individuals’.

Julie Crease Office Administrator

As our office administrator, Julie is wholly responsible for all direct correspondence. Her various administrative roles have developed a faultless telephone manner which is vital in her role as our first point of contact for all enquiries. She has a compassionate yet efficient approach to any situation that may arise.

Julie joined Jane Bennett Care Services Ltd in 2016. She is extremely organised and resourceful and remains an integral part to the effective running of the company.

Tessa Lear Manager

Tessa first began working in the care industry in the summer of 1999, in nursing and residential. ‘I always felt a need to help others, particularly the elderly’.

During her time working in a nursing home, Tessa was given the opportunity to complete the pilot scheme for what was then the NVQ Level 2 in Heath & Social Care. Continuing with this, Tessa went straight on to complete her Level 3.

‘Since working for Jane Bennett Care Services, I have achieved my Level 5 in Management and Leadership, which I consider to be a real achievement. However I continue to remain working out in the community alongside our team of excellent care workers – to provide a service for our clients that’s personal, yet professional’.

Sarah Swallow Support Manager

I started working in care at the age of 16 at weekends in a nursing home, which I absolutely loved. At 18 I began working for the NHS Learning Disability Trust caring for adults with learning disabilities. After a break to raise my family I later joined Age UK Suffolk working in the day centre. One of which was specifically for people living with dementia. When they closed for the last time I joined Jane Bennett’s team.

Jane gave me the opportunity to further my career and since joining the team, I have assisted with starting up the Time Out Club in August 2017 and became Care Co-ordinator. I have completed my Level 2 in Health and Social Care and almost completed my level 3. Since completing my Moving and Positioning trainer course, I am now the trainer for the team.

I have most recently been given the post as Support Manager, supporting Tessa and leading a team of Support Workers for the Time Out sessions at the Gatehouse.

“I cannot speak highly enough of the dedication, compassion, and concern shown by all the carers from the very first day. They displayed the highest degree of professionalism and skill combined with a sympathy and readiness to raise the spirits of both my wife and I.”

“We have felt very reassured knowing dad has been in safe hands, and his needs and emotions have always been treated with the utmost respect and sensitivity.”

“Jane Bennett Support Services Ltd have been so fantastic to our Mum and the extra kindness you have extended to her have not gone unnoticed.”

“Jane Bennett Support Services Ltd gave me a lot of strength and positivity, for which I am so grateful.”
